Storm development was iffy leading up to this event. The RAP lead me to believe that we may see a supercell in Northwest Kansas. I was able to leave Sunday morning from Norman and headed up to Woodward and into Kansas. I took a brief stop at Dodge City before heading up to Garden City.
As we sat in Garden City, the cumulus field overhead started to dissipate indicating that the cap had won. We headed north towards Oakley and then towards Holdredge and Kearney before heading to Lincoln for the night.
